A Minecraft gaming club where we embark on adventures together in an inclusive gaming environment, learn emotional skills, teamwork, communication skills, and a lot more about Minecraft itself.
Does your household have a child who is enthusiastic about Minecraft, maybe even a bit cube-headed? Are you looking for like-minded friends, new companions, and fun, developmental adventures for them in their favorite game? You've come to the right place!
School of Gaming's Minecraft clubs are designed to educate your child through gaming, helping them become exemplary digital citizens of the modern age. Here, they will learn to confidently interact in large groups, express their opinions, and engage in civilized discussions, respecting others' space. School of Gaming's young digital citizens are equipped with strong self-esteem, developed through positive feedback, successful experiences, and self-expression. Our young players feel part of something bigger, enhancing their sense of meaning and belonging.
Minecraft is not just a game. It’s a creativity tool that gives imagination the wings of a dragon and a powerful jet engine. Playing together under the guidance of a game educator is much more fun than playing alone or with unfamiliar company.
Nothing is impossible in Minecraft. In this lesson, we combine survival and creative building in the most mysterious corners of the Sogversum. The secrets of our amazing Minecraft worlds invite gamers to problem-solving adventures. We even have a Hogwarts-style magic school where the gamers learn about potions and spells. Sometimes, we might take class trips to other parts of the Sogversum, trading magical items and mystical special skills.
During the lessons, we dive headfirst into narrative adventures where game educators act as tour guides on incredible, cube-shaped explorations. So grab your pick-axe, sprinkle a bit of magic dust on your sandwiches, and step into unforgettable adventures.
This group is intended for children aged 9-12 who are looking for new challenges and action-packed adventures. For those who prefer less action and slower pace we recommend our Tuesday's Minecraft club. Or Friday's Minecraft club of similar more relaxed content. Staying engaged in the group's adventures is easy, if you just know how to use a computer. You’ll quickly learn to play Minecraft by playing with a friendly and helpful group, thus no prior experience is needed. Enthusiasm is all that’s required! If your gamer is becoming a teen and does not want to play with "kids" anymore we recommend Thursday's Minecraft Club for Teenagers.
The club meets weekly. Missed sessions can be made up by joining any other similar session during the week. Each 90-minute session includes a physical activity break. In all our clubs, we teach healthy gaming habits and the basic skills of digital citizenship.
The Minecraft club meets online on the Discord platform, which you can download for free from the internet or app store. To participate in the club, you also need a computer with Minecraft Java installed. The game license is not included in the monthly fee.
Since we operate online, your child's online safety is of utmost importance to us. We provide instructions on how you, as a parent, can ensure your child's online safety, and we do everything possible on our end to keep your child safe.
Each group is led by a trained professional in game education. Game instructors, or "gedus," provide a safe and positive gaming environment for gamers. They can always be reached via email or phone.
Participating in the club requires some initial setup, but you have the support of the server attendants in the Lounge and the office staff. Once the system is set up, the gaming club is "the easiest hobby ever," as one of our customers said. You don't have to drive your child anywhere, bake chocolate chip cookies, or argue about whether to go to the club this week. All our gamers eagerly await the weekly gaming club.
In addition to the weekly gaming club, your child can join our safe gaming community. We have zero tolerance for toxicity and bullying. Our moderators have eyes and ears everywhere and we have strict procedure against all bullying.
On club days, gamers can participate in casual conversations in the Lounge, and the Lounge team is always there to help if you have any issues with the computer, game, or subscription. Our gaming community always has someone to play and chat with. We also organize various community events and challenges almost weekly, to which your gamer is warmly welcome to participate.
