A Minecraft gaming club specifically made for teenager gamers where they can continue their Minecraft journey in an inclusive and safe gaming environment.
Getting older doesn’t mean you have to leave Minecraft in the past. This club has an age limit, and only older Minecraft enthusiasts can access the group’s secret headquarters. With the top game educators at School of Gaming, you can discover a new way to continue enjoying Minecraft, even if you’ve been in double digits for a while.
This Minecraft club for teens fosters a relaxed atmosphere for hanging out and playing with peers. There is plenty of room for creativity and personal experimentation. The crazier the idea, the better! Belonging to your own group is equally important, as it helps strengthen your identity, drawing power from it during this sensitive age. We aim to create a space where everyone can discuss topics on their minds in a safe environment.
The content is shaped by the group’s interests. The lessons use a dedicated game server where the group can test different mods and create adventures and building projects that suit their tastes. The game educator is experienced in working with older players.
Once a Minecraft player, always a Minecraft player. Playing with little kids can get boring after a while. We set the age limit for this lesson at 13 years only so that older players can comfortably continue playing their beloved Minecraft. For younger players we recommend either Monday's Minecraft Club for Builders or Wednesday's Minecraft Club for Adventurers.
The club meets weekly. Missed sessions can be made up by joining any other similar session during the week. Each 90-minute session includes a physical activity break. In all our clubs, we teach healthy gaming habits and the basic skills of digital citizenship.
The Minecraft club meets online on the Discord platform, which you can download for free from the internet or app store. To participate in the club, you also need a computer with Minecraft Java installed. The game license is not included in the monthly fee.
Since we operate online, your child's online safety is of utmost importance to us. We provide instructions on how you, as a parent, can ensure your child's online safety, and we do everything possible on our end to keep your child safe.
Each group is led by a trained professional in game education. Game instructors, or "gedus," provide a safe and positive gaming environment for gamers. They can always be reached via email or phone.
Participating in the club requires some initial setup, but you have the support of the server attendants in the Lounge and the office staff. Once the system is set up, the gaming club is "the easiest hobby ever," as one of our customers said. You don't have to drive your child anywhere, bake chocolate chip cookies, or argue about whether to go to the club this week. All our gamers eagerly await the weekly gaming club.
In addition to the weekly gaming club, your child can join our safe gaming community. We have zero tolerance for toxicity and bullying. Our moderators have eyes and ears everywhere and we have strict procedure against all bullying.
On club days, gamers can participate in casual conversations in the Lounge, and the Lounge team is always there to help if you have any issues with the computer, game, or subscription. Our gaming community always has someone to play and chat with. We also organize various community events and challenges almost weekly, to which your gamer is warmly welcome to participate.
