Third party services used to deliver the online gaming lessons
The games
School of Gaming uses various third party games to provide the service. The games used are stated at the lesson type and gamers are divided into groups according to the age limits of the game. According to the Finnish Act on Audiovisual Programmes, under parental control, the child can play games that have an age limit 3 years greater than the actual age of the child (excluding games that are rated suitable for children over 18 years of age). The customer must be aware of the age limits and by purchasing our service, agrees to be present while the child is attending the lesson or revokes the age limit stretch.
The communication tools
To provide the online lesson, School of Gaming must use online communication tools and platforms. Some of them have age limits based on the local laws under which the service providers operate. Thus, it is very important that all online communication is done under parental supervision and for under 13 years of age children using parents’ accounts.
Cancellation Policy
Continuous Online lessons and coaching
Ongoing services (lessons and coaching) may be terminated in the termination section of the “My Account” section of the Website. If the termination is made before the end of the current subscription period, it will take effect at the end of that subscription period, otherwise the termination will end at the end of the next subscription period.We offer a full money back guarantee in case you are not pleased with our service after your first session. This means that after the first lesson or coaching session you can terminate your order and get a full refund. Termination must be done in writing within 2 days of your first participation to School of Gaming lesson.
Online Gaming Camps
Cancellations of camps with specified start and end dates must be made no later than 14 days prior to the start of the camp. In this case, we will refund the camp fee in full. If the cancellation is made less than 14 days, but more than 7 days before the start of the event, we will deduct 50 euros for office administration and preparation costs. If the cancellation is made less than 7 days before the start of the camp, we will withhold the price of the camp in full, unless sudden illness or other force major incident occurs. For non-cancelled camps, we will withhold payment in full.If the camp is interrupted or cancelled due to participants sudden illness, we will refund the money for the days of absence by presenting a medical certificate. The medical certificate should be scanned and sent to info@sog.gg.
Tariffs
The service level of the customer is based on their active subscription type. We reserve the right to change the add-ons of each service level. Current prices are indicated in our online store. Prices are in euros and include VAT. We reserve the right to change the fees charged for the service.
Termination of service
School of Gaming reserves the right to terminate the delivery of service for the Customer. School of Gaming does not tolerate toxic behaviour, bullying or continuous disruptive behavior from the gamers. Termination is the last step of disciplinary actions and the customer will be informed beforehand. In case of termination, the subscription will be canceled by School of Gaming and the cancellation policy is applied.
Privacy Policy
Customer information is stored in the customer register maintained by the School of Gaming Galactic Oy. Customer data is used to manage the customer relationship. The Register Description in accordance with the Personal Data Act is available at: https://sog.gg/privacy-policy. We do not disclose address information to third parties for direct marketing.
We reserve the right to use artwork and other material created during our camps and clubs for marketing purposes.
