For whom is this club?

This is a feel-good and cheerful Minecraft club where we build, adventure, and genuinely play in Minecraft. All kinds of performance pressure are completely thrown out the window. In the club, activities take place in the members' own village, where anything can happen! Our Minecraft worlds we use in this club are the sunniest corners of School of Gaming. In this club, you can draw rainbows and unicorns on your house walls and grow wild snapdragon thistles under the eternal sun. It is so sunny that night rarely falls, which is great if you fear zombies and all kinds of nighttime critters. Night tends to ruin all the fun with defense strategies and village safety concerns. It’s much nicer to trade in the sunshine, organize horse races, build amusement parks for bunnies, or race wildly on a roller coaster with cotton candy stuck in your hair.

Minecraft is not just a game. Minecraft is a creativity tool that gives wings and a powerful jet engine to the imagination. Playing together under the guidance of a game educator is many times more fun than playing alone or in strange company.

In the lesson, we dive headfirst into narrative adventures where game educators act as guides on incredible, cube-shaped explorations. So grab your pick-axe, sprinkle a pinch of magic dust on your sandwiches, and step into unforgettable adventures.

Suitability

This group is intended for children aged 7-9 who are at the beginning of their gaming careers. Younger gamers can also join if they have basic computer skills. Staying engaged in the group's adventures is easy if you can read and use a computer. You’ll quickly learn to play Minecraft by playing with a friendly and helpful group, and no prior experience is needed. Enthusiasm is all that’s required!

Participate weekly from your own home

The club meets weekly. Missed sessions can be made up by joining any other similar session during the week. Each 90-minute session includes a physical activity break. In all our clubs, we teach healthy gaming habits and the basic skills of digital citizenship.

The Minecraft club meets online on the Discord platform, which you can download for free from the internet or app store. To participate in the club, you also need a computer with Minecraft Java installed. The game license is not included in the monthly fee.

Safety is our top priority

Since we operate online, your child's online safety is of utmost importance to us. We provide instructions on how you, as a parent, can ensure your child's online safety, and we do everything possible on our end to keep your child safe.

Each group is led by a trained professional in game education. Game instructors, or "gedus," provide a safe and positive gaming environment for gamers. They can always be reached via email or phone.

The best hobby ever

Participating in the club requires some initial setup, but you have the support of the server attendants in the Lounge and the office staff. Once the system is set up, the gaming club is "the easiest hobby ever," as one of our customers said. You don't have to drive your child anywhere, bake chocolate chip cookies, or argue about whether to go to the club this week. All our gamers eagerly await the weekly gaming club.

It comes with an inclusive and safe community

In addition to the weekly gaming club, your child can join our safe gaming community. We have zero tolerance for toxicity and bullying. Our moderators have eyes and ears everywhere and we have strict procedure against all bullying.

On club days, gamers can participate in casual conversations in the Lounge, and the Lounge team is always there to help if you have any issues with the computer, game, or subscription. Our gaming community always has someone to play and chat with. We also organize various community events and challenges almost weekly, to which your gamer is warmly welcome to participate.

General info about all the lessons:

All of our lessons have a zero-tolerance policy towards bullying and toxic behavior.
Lessons last for 1.5 hours unless otherwise specified.
There is a maximum of 15 gamers per gaming instructor. Gameplay occurs in small groups.
During each lesson, there will be a mid-session break for physical activity. This break helps refresh the mind and maintain focus throughout the entire lesson.
You can join the lessons at any time. The designated gaming instructor will find a suitable gaming group for the participant and introduce them to the group.
