Basic info

Marvel Rivals is a fast-paced 6v6 team game where players step into the boots of iconic superheroes and villains. Characters range from Iron Man to Loki and from Storm to Punisher. Each character has their own unique abilities, and the game is built on seamless teamwork, tactics, and spectacular battles.

👶 Age Rating: 12 years (PEGI), similar to many other action-oriented team games.

Why Marvel Rivals?

While the game resembles Fortnite with its fast pace, in Marvel Rivals you don't build but strategically demolish the game area, and it's not about survival but strategic teamwork on enclosed maps. It combines Overwatch-like team gameplay with Marvel universe's amazing characters. A great choice for gamers who love action, heroes, and cooperation.

Weekly group practices offer opportunities to develop important life skills and learn about the physical and mental wellness aspects of esports. Training teamwork and communication skills is a big part of esports, and participating in competitive tournaments with like-minded friends under the guidance of a reliable game coach brings exciting thrills to the hobby. In a safe and supportive environment, esports can become a great hobby that increases young people's well-being and brings enriching content to their lives.

School of Gaming approaches esports holistically: gaming skills are just one part of being an esports athlete. Exercise, sleep, nutrition, school, and other hobbies all support the player's development for the esports arena. Everyone aspiring to be an esports athlete must understand that many factors beyond mere gaming skills affect a gaming career.

At School of Gaming, we believe that gaming is a fantastic hobby when activities are organized, guided by trained and pedagogically qualified coaches, and when all participants have embraced School of Gaming's values and principles. We participate in competitive tournaments, but the fun and meaningfulness of the activity and personal growth are much more important than winning.

For whom is this club?

Who is this club for?

School of Gaming's Marvel Rivals training brings meaningful structure and goal-orientation to gaming. Our gaming coaches encourage participants to exercise actively and avoid a sedentary lifestyle by providing tips on how good physical and mental performance can affect gaming performance. A systematic approach and a healthy dose of discipline help form positive and lasting routines in young people's lives.

And so it begins. We work hard together so that the entire team develops technically in gaming, but also mentally and physically. We train in our own time too, as long as we remember to go outdoors, cycle to school, and leave those energy drinks on the shelf. Playing as a team is at least ten times better than solo grinding. That's the salt and pepper of esports.

Suitability

This club is designed for players aged 9-16 who are interested in developing into better players and testing their skills against others both individually and as a team. If Marvel Rivals is a familiar game to you and you've played it at home before, but want to take your skills to the next level with guidance from a game coach and support from teammates, this group is the right choice for you.

Participate weekly from your own home

The club meets weekly. If a session is missed during any week, it can be made up during another club. Each 90-minute session includes a physical activity break. In all our clubs, we teach healthy gaming habits and the basic skills of digital citizenship.

We meet online weekly on the Discord platform, which you can download for free from the internet or an app store. To participate in the club, you will also need a computer with Marvel Rivals installed, and your computer must be able to run it. You can also join using a console like Playstation or Xbox.

Balancing gaming, diverse hobbies, family and social relationships, schoolwork, and adequate rest and nutrition are key aspects we emphasize in our activities. Gaming should not dominate a young person's life but should be one enriching part of it. This is the goal of School of Gaming's Marvel Rivals program.

Safety is our top priority

Since we operate online, your child's online safety is of utmost importance to us. We provide instructions on how you, as a parent, can ensure your child's online safety, and we do everything possible on our end to keep your child safe.

Each group is led by a trained professional in game education. Game instructors, or "gedus," provide a safe and positive gaming environment for gamers. They can always be reached via email or phone.

The best hobby ever

Participating in the club requires some initial setup, but you have the support of the server attendants in the Lounge and the office staff. Once the system is set up, the gaming club is "the easiest hobby ever," as one of our customers said. You don't have to drive your child anywhere, bake chocolate chip cookies, or argue about whether to go to the club this week. All our gamers eagerly await the weekly gaming club.

It comes with an inclusive and safe community

In addition to the weekly gaming club, your child can join our safe gaming community. We have zero tolerance for toxicity and bullying. Our moderators have eyes and ears everywhere and we have strict procedure against all bullying.

On club days, gamers can participate in casual conversations in the Lounge, and the Lounge team is always there to help if you have any issues with the computer, game, or subscription. Our gaming community always has someone to play and chat with. We also organize various community events and challenges almost weekly, to which your gamer is warmly welcome to participate.
