Heidi Gedu

Heidi is a gentle game educator who gets excited about shared adventures and new problem-solving challenges. Heidi's strengths are genuine listening to and appreciation of others. It is important to Heidi that everyone feels safe and accepted as they are.

Heidi has a background as a class teacher and she has a master's degree in Educational Science. Heidi has also studied mathematics and programming, which have a special place in her heart. However, Heidi's secret career dreams are to develop assessment and positive feedback to support more intrinsic motivation, and to play Minecraft as a job. At the moment, Heidi spends her mornings adventuring in the playgrounds with her 2-year-old and her afternoons adventuring as a gedu.

Heidi has always liked games, especially strategy games and cooperative games. Heidi discovered Minecraft as an adult, introduced by her husband. In her free time, she and her husband follow the development of Minecraft speedrunning and play various Minecraft challenges with a group of friends in survival mode.
